The shape of the legs when joined together and the shape of the recessed area on the underside of the tabletop where the legs join are designed to resemble a snowflake, which is also used as an illustration on the packaging.

The sight of snowflakes falling is a common sight in both Hokkaido and Finland, and became the design theme for Parapeli.
We believe that snowflakes are a symbol that connects the snowy country of Hokkaido with Finland.

This is a coating that forms a urethane resin film on the surface. It is more resistant to scratches than oil and is less likely to get stained by water. There is no need for maintenance such as applying regular topcoats yourself, and it can be used for a long time as is.
