It's small but stable, smooth to the touch, and comfortable to sit on. It's light and the color is darker and more subdued than in the photo, so it was perfect!

I was wondering whether to buy a cheaper imported product, but I'm glad I decided on this one. I was reminded once again that the skills of Japanese craftsmen are truly meticulous and careful, and above all, beautiful. When I looked at the enclosed catalog, there were lots of wonderful pieces of furniture...I hope I can save up some money and buy one someday...But for now, I'm looking forward to living happily with this stool♪The quick and courteous service made it a very good purchase. I was looking for a stool to go with my ash wood dining sofa and found this. I asked if the height could be adjusted, and they said they could for a small additional fee. When the stool arrived, it was so carefully made and the wood grain was so beautiful that I couldn't help but stroke it!

It matches perfectly with the chair in my house. It can be used as an ottoman and as a place to put your belongings.
I really like how comfortable it is to sit on. I highly recommend this quality for the price. I immediately ordered a second chair. I'm looking forward to using it again.

This is the best purchase I've ever made on Rakuten. I want a chair. But I don't want a cheap one... but I'm on a tight budget!
I looked around Rakuten quite a bit. Just by looking, I could tell that every detail was beautifully crafted.
I bought it to try it out...I'm glad I bought it.

It's so light that I find myself moving it around. The hole in the middle makes it easy to carry.
Even though it has holes in it, it doesn't hurt your bottom, and it's great for putting laundry on it or letting succulents sunbathe. It also came with a sticker to prevent scratches on the floor. This was helpful because I was wondering what to do about it. It was a good product that I can understand the feelings of people who buy a second chair.
Be sure to check out the enclosed catalogue! You'll definitely want good furniture.

I live with my partner in a condominium in Tokyo. I am a musician.
I don't like heavy, bulky chairs like piano chairs, so I searched for "cello chairs" to see if there was anything better. A light, compact half chair with a small seat was perfect.

To be honest, I thought it was a little expensive, but it's well made and doesn't wobble, so I'm glad I bought it. I now have a half chair in my living room. It fits perfectly under the round table.

I've been struggling to find a stool for my cello, but this is the one.

When playing the cello, you sit shallowly on the chair, but with this half chair, the backrest provides support even in that position, making it easy to determine the position of your hips.

The shape of the seat is good, so your thighs can move freely and you can comfortably hold the cello between your knees. It's easier to hold the cello between your knees than when sitting on a normal chair, so the instrument won't shake even if you move the bow quickly.

The thin legs make it look delicate, but because it is trapezoidal and made of hard material (I chose hard oak), it is a very sturdy chair with no wobbling. It is reliable even when you use your whole body to play the cello vigorously.

I bought this chair for playing guitar. At first glance it looks like a dining chair, but its unique feature is that it is half the depth. It was designed by Korean industrial designer Jung Woojin. It is said to be suitable for cellists and violinists, and supports the spine while keeping the back of the person sitting in a straight position.

So I thought, maybe it would be good for playing the guitar too? When you sit shallowly on a chair to play the guitar, your back doesn't reach the backrest, which makes you tired, and you end up leaning forward and hunchbacked.
I didn't know this, but Asahikawa is apparently a city known for furniture making, just as the area around Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture is known for guitar making.

So, when it came to making this "Half Chair Op.2", it seems like there were many twists and turns and discussions with the designer. It's true that when you add a cushion, it becomes like a dining chair, and it looks less "stylish" than "Op.1".

It's difficult to find a balance between "practicality" and "design" here. But I chose "practicality" in this case. It's a little expensive as a single chair, but it's custom-made, and I thought it would be okay to spend a little more if it meant I could play the guitar more comfortably, so I went ahead and bought it, just like when I bought my first Yokoyama guitar.

But it was so good! It was worth the wait!
